Callidus Design have been appointed by Crownhouse Technologies to design the cooling and air conditioning system associated with Edinburgh University’s introduction of the HECToR supercomputer at their site at The Bush, Roslin, Midlothian. The building and services will be designed and constructed in such a way as to allow a phased introduction of HECToR with cooling & power load densities of 6.4kW/m2 with a view to a future upgrade provision which will take the load up to 10.6kW/m2, a truly challenging figure.
